Festival Market Including BBC Somerset Sound

Saturday 15th sees the arrival of the 10 Parishes Festival Market in West Street, Wiveliscombe. Along with all the wonderful stalls selling local produce, arts and crafts, there will be entertainment both in Jubilee Gardens and the street.

Aldo will be providing silly, funny street entertainment, music will be provided by the Wiveliscombe Town Band and The Albion Horns. There will be drama from Kingsmead School Students in the shape of A Midsummer Night's Dream and songs on the theme of animals and the environment from Fodo Higginson and incorporating local children, titled Blue Planet.

BBC Somerset Sound

Live broadcasts during the morning from the BBC Somerset Sound bus, with opportunities to make and broadcast a news bulletin and see just how a mobile radio station works!

The BBC Bus will remain during the day so that everyone has a chance to experience a mobile studio and everything it entails.
