As part of celebrating the beauty and idiosyncrasy of our ten parishes, local writer and creative writing teacher Briony Goffin will be putting on 4 free 2 hour creative writing sessions. These workshops are intended to provide a lovely opportunity for parish residents to come together to explore and record, in their own words, their own special places associated with living in the Ten Parishes area. All are welcome, including children, and no previous creative writing experience is necessary. The emphasis will be on a fun and creative experience in a warm, supportive and sharing environment! The opportunity will also be available for participants to contribute their writing to a special pull out spread in the Wivey Messenger and an audio programme and archive created in conjunction with 10 Radio.
