Teasing the Cat are from the South West of England and specialise in traditional music from both Britain and the Continent. They are a great ceilidh band to dance to and are much in demand around the region. The diverse musical backgrounds of the individual band members give them a broad repertoire to draw on and they are as comfortable playing a Breton An Dro as they are slip jig for Strip the Willow!
Mike Eaton (hurdy-gurdy), John Dike (violin) and Chris Edmunds (squeezeboxes) will be augmented at Ashbrittle by Nick Dunkley on mandola, and caller Dick Carlyon.
